President's message

Hello MCLL Families!

Our Opening Day was a great success!  I’d like to thank the MCLL Board of Directors for their hard work and dedication to getting the season started on the right foot.  I’d like to thank L & J Mexican for coming out and providing food for the day.  Everyone was so hungry, L & J ran out of food before the Majors started their game.  I’d like to thank James Blalock for his fabulous rendition of The Star Spangled Banner.  I’d like to thank Sheriff Briese for coming down to throw a first pitch strike to set the tone for the season.  I’d like to thank the Lion’s Club for their great support over the years.  I’d like to thank all our sponsors who stepped forward to eagerly support the kids of this community this season. I’d like to thank all the coaches that give a tremendous amount of time to teach our kids to play the great game of baseball!  I’d like to thank the umpires for coming out to make sure the games ran smoothly.  And I’d like to thank all the parents and guardians who made sure the kids got to practice, and brought their families out to celebrate a new season of baseball!  It was a great day, and I truly appreciate everyone’s dedication to this sport, and our league!  I’m sure I’m forgetting some who deserve our thanks.  We can’t do this without the incredible support of the community.

Now that we’ve got it going in the right direction, it’s time for the bad news.  MCLL will be applying the balance of the registration fees today.  When they’ve been added to your account, you’ll receive a separate email letting you know the amount due.  You have three ways to pay.  You can go onto your account on mariposalittleleague.org and pay by credit card, you can send a check made payable to Mariposa County Little League, or you can use Venmo to send the payment to @mariposalittleleague.  Make sure to include your player’s name and division on the latter two options.

We thank you all for being apart of MCLL, and of this great community of ours!

Sincerely,
Grant Davis
President of MCLL
